Given the restricted range of the Bluetooth wireless techonology, and the fact that is present in almost every modern cell phone/smartphone/PDA, this makes it an ideal advertising solution for retail shops, exhibits, museums, temporary events, etc. Upon entering the wireless range of the platform (100 meters maximum), contents are automatically pushed to the user device. The type of contents can range from plain text, to rich media such as images, video or even Flash lite and Java applications.

The web-based user interface allows a simple and fast management of the contents to be distributed, along with configurable sending behaviour (campaign
lifetime, message sequencing, repetition pattern, etc). Success information can
be consulted through this platform. This includes information about each message sent to a given recipent and devices detected by the framework. For the customer data retrieval feature, the data provided by the user can be visualized and exported.
